my protein skimmer

hi guys im new to this i just bought a visijet skimmer for my 29 gallon and its not producing any foam the instryctions says it should take 2 hours to start getting some in chamber but it hasnt what am i doing wrong

Nothing. Don't be surprised if it takes several days to break in. You can speed this process by cleaning the skimmer really well before installing it.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but visi-jets are by far one of the worst skimmers you can buy. Im going to say you're going to need to buy another skimmer if you want a good skimmer. And, I assume you know about cycling and not moving too fast, right? If not, just ask the helpful people on this forum

the instructions say there should not be any bubles coming out at bottom is that correct because ui have 2 turn flow all the way down for that
