My Puffer seems unhappy

you can use melafix and pimafix with anything just remove carbons from filters..pimafix does not work well without the melafix ..but melafix can be used alone for various issues

Hey all! Great news... He is eating!!

Stuck a whole shrimp in the rock and he finally started nibbling. His side looks lots better. It does not look infected at all. I have not put any meds in and probably won't if it stays this good. He sleeps in a hole in the rock but always gets out and looks very alert when the lights come on.
I am very excited that he seems to finally be doing well. Talk about feeling guilty, I thought I had handed him a slow and painful death.

Good to hear! Lots of new fish will look like they won't make it; then bounce back. The trip from the reef to your tank isn't easy.
