hi,
I got a ribbon eel on Thursday. I have tried to feed him several times. I am trying live
guppies with no success. Can someone give me some advice? Am I doing something wrong? What else could I try feeding him?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Could be a million things. But I allways go for the simple fix. sometimes it takes three or four, maybe more, days for new arrivals to even come out of hiding ,much less eat. You should always ask the store to feed a fish before you buy it. If it wont eat in the store, he probably is ill and wont eat at home. Any good store will do this. Keep an eye on him, and good luck STEVE

I have heard that quite often eels are very picky. A friend of mine had a snowflake that never liked to come out of hiding, so he filled those little nets that you catch fish in with the live food and would put the net in front of the hole it was always in and then it would eat. It just didn't like competition. I hope everything turns out okay!!
