Alright here is my aquarium, http://members.roadfly.com/ballzeeone/Aquarium.jpg I have a 135 gallon FO. One porcupine puffer and three damsels. You can see Greg the puffer here, http://members.roadfly.com/ballzeeone/Greg1.jpg I am going to add fish soon. However, I have been having the nitrates increase slowly til sometimes almost 60 PPM before I do a water change. I know I should do a water change sooner. No Ammonia-No Nitrites. I have a Wet/Dry rated for 200 gallon aquariums and a UV steralizer.
Any way to keep the nitrates in check? Would a skimmer help? Any comments on additions to the tank. I am going to add a miniatus grouper soon, So I want to keep the water quality up because of the messy eating of the puffer and the grouper. Thank you for the advice. This is a great board.
