My snowflake won't eat

I've tried everything from krill to silversides, shrimp, squid, and even ghost shrimp. He just all of a sudden stopped eating. I just went through a move and I know I stressed him alittle. How long can he survive without food? It's been about 2 weeks since he has eaten.

Eels can go extended periods (several weeks) w/o food and have no ill effects. Continue to offer small amounts of various foods every 2-3 days. My guess is he'll resume eating fairly soon. For kicks, drop in an emerald or sally lightfoot crab and see if this elicits a feeding response. Crustaceanss are their natural prey so offering a live crab might spark his appetitie again.

Are you using tongs to feed him? Thats really my only suggestion here, getting the food right in front of him could help... Live food like stated above would probably spark some interest and get him eating again.

I feed my sfe at night w/ low lighting from my moonlights. I drop in a small piece of raw shrimp and watch it come out for the 'kill'. Fun to watch

Thanks for the replies! It is good to hear that he will be ok after several weeks w/o eating. I will again try a few live ghost shrimp and a crab. Hopefully he will start being the Pig that he once was.
