jamesurq,
The Vette is 1 of 189 built in 2000..Nassau Blue Metalic..
That s why.....LOL:cool:

I also have to build the wife a book case after the tank is up. I just finished putting down the wood laminate flooring in the whole downstairs of the house, but that was pretty easy.

Here is my stand so far. It's probally a little overkill but I didn't want to risk my tank falling or anything. It's going in my basement and will be a in wall tank. I am in the process of building a really nice room in the basement. You can tell by my pics my basement is totally unfinished.

Slick,
I know mine is overkill, but it is in my living room and I dont want to have it collapse and ruin the rest of my belongings.

Prater ... nice looking stand.
I noticed on your last pic that you said you are adding a center post after the sump gets put in. Souds like your sump will be trapped in there. I've seen some stand designed with removable side panels. This allows long sumps to be slid in and out from the side in the event changes are necessary. Just a thought.
Nice Vette. :)

Sweet! While were talking vettes, here's mine:

Prater, what have you done too it other than the aftermarket wheels and it looks like you screwed it down toward the ground a little.
I had to get rid of the stock exhaust. Sounded like a tug boat. Put on Corsa Indys, Corsa X pipe and made it breathe with a Breathless Vortex Rammer and Breathless Airbridge.

foxthorn,
I thought about the side panels, but my 75G would not fit through. I will make the center easily removable in case it ever happens.
Slick,
I knew you were talking about yours. We dont want anything to happen to our tanks once in place.
JoeZ,
All Corvettes are red:D I also have a set of Brodix Track 1 heads ready to go with a full race prep job $2K if you know anyone looking. They were for a Miniram 412 I was building before I came across this C5 FRC
TangMan99,
Thats a sweet coupe. I have Mallet sway bars, Penske double adjustable fluid reservoir shocks, 3.90 rear gears, Z06 clutch, Fredenza lightweight flywheel, K&N FLPK, 3" Borla XR-1 with crossover instead of muffler, and a few other things here and there:cool:

are you guys at all familiar with corvetteforum.com?
you should check it out if you aren't...a real wealth of information.
I'm good for heads already....have aftermarket double hump that I'm going to port and polish, but am waiting for a good source to find TPI first.
Man I love talking about my vette :D

Joe,
What TPI you looking at?? Stock or aftermarket. I have been a member of Corvetteforum since 99. I dont post there often, but do read it when I need a little help. I purchased my FRC off a member in Texas from the for sale section.
Also I have a couple of new Garrett T04B turbos that I am not going to use...$1K for the set

2jz what are you running in that blue supra...what about the black one...and anything done to the is300...my cousin and i are building a 2000 Nogaro Blue s4 that we bought together.it has h&r springs,Bilstein Sport shocks,TAP chip stage 4 110hp+,dtm filters,HKS Turbo Exhaust Systems, all the little tid bits here and there also that are to much to mention..those are major...the car other wise is completly stock from out side with the wheels to inside with the 2 tone suede leather seats..were keeping it stock looking to mislead everyone...only mods inside ******** is dvd/navigation..the car has 7500miles on only we dont drive it much just work on it.then on weekends take it out and smoke a few vettes and other people that think they can take us on..its fun were pulling just under 400hp:) i think we need more but my cousin seems to differ with me but i usually convince him other wise...ill try and get a pic up of it

Those are some nice Supras, we have a couple around here that are single turbo conversions running low 11sec quarters. I know my limits, so I keep to the twist and turns....I might just have to keep my Garrets and suprise those guys later this year:D

the blue supra has a t78 with greddy manifold which uses...dyno'd at 780rwhp@31PSI UNTUNED! i'll try to scan a copy of the dyno chart if you guys want. full fuel system on it, running 850cc injectors twin fuel pump. the motor is handling the power with no problem, but the internal will be fully built. we're using a TRD race clutch, but it doesnt seem to be holding well, so an HKS tripple plate's on the way. using an osaka ecu which is untuned, planning on replacing it with a standalone. all electronics are HKS (bc, fc, etc). HKS cam and aem cam gears. godzilla bov, and atmospheric dump wastegate....so much to list, if you have any specific questions let me know. we ran the car at the track untuned with street tires which can't grab any traction...it ran a 14.0@122mph. as you can see, the car is very capable when its done tuning and the slicks are on it ;)
the anthracite supra is BPU+ which ran a 12.48.
the is300 had a turbo for it...but we returned to stock....
vasli - i also had a '01 s4 nogaro blue which i mildly modified. forge diverter valve, h&r spring with bilstein shocks, evo intake, blitz gauges and turbo timer, giac tip chip (unfortunately it was a auto), i also went through a lot of chips...giacX, apr, abt and mtm. the best response i found was the abt chip for auto. but i hear that apr works very well for the 6spd
here are some pics of my s4:

Nice cars! I also know my limits. My best 1/4 mile pass was a 12.7 after I added the mods. Not bad for not having touched the engine at all. Just made it breathe a lot better. That was a perfect launch and just the right temperature also. It all depends on what you want to put into it.
At 14.0 flat with 122 trap time does show some great potential. It must had over a 3 second 60' time but sounds like it squated and made up some serious time when it finally hooked up for that high of a trap speed. A legit 14 second car will usually have a trap speed somewhere in the high 90 mph range.
I have been a member of Corvetteforum for a while also, but I don't post there much either. Not a lot of time these days.
Prater, do you remember NoMercy who was ripped of by Hennessey and had ATI do his 422 for his C5? I saw the video where they tested it at the Texas track. All steet legal it ran a 9.98 @ 143 MPH.
I need to stop. I'm getting aroused. :D

Prater...I'm looking for 86-92 camaro TPI used. I want to put the Holley StealthRam in addition to that.
As for turbos, I currently have a pair that I might use if I can get the compression maps on them. If these don't work, I'm looking for used ones. I'm just a broke kid :)
