That is a nice bike, I almost lost my life at 21 due to a bike+stupidity+Truck. After I was walking again(year and a half later) I decided to stay off the crotch rockets, I have had a few cruisers since, but stay off them for the most part. I had been riding since I was 10, just got stupid. Stay safe

Nice bike CBR929! Funny you should post a bike picture and 2jZ mention it, but I have been trying to get my wife to let me buy a Suzuki GSX-R 750 for the last month. She's not saying no because of the danger, we just don't have the room in our 2 car garage to park it. I told her we could park it between the cars and squeeze in and out, but she looked at me like I was crazy.
Oh well, maybe when we buy our 3 car garage house. :(

Hay tangman99 thay are only dangerous if you make them
that way. I try to do all the stupid things in smart places
( at the race track) some time that don't alway work. As
far as the place to put it, if you take up one of the spot in
the garage tell her you will park your car out side and put
the bike in side. Them after you get it just squeeze it in on
your side. Good luck with your bike shopping and your fish
tank

I will post a sticker I saw on the back window of a viper that smoked a highly modifed import.
There is no replacement for displacement!

no replacement for displacement? what year are you living in? it's called FORCE INDUCTION. :D :D you see that big snail under the hood?? yeaaaaaa ;) anyways...no need to argue, because it will be redudant and everyone who is biased have their head set on one thing and one thing only, and that there are no other right ways of doing it.

Seems like there is a very long span between the supporting posts on either end.
What is the length of the tank?
Maybe a couple of verticle supports on either side, or in the middle between the center, front two doors.

dreeves,
There will be support in the front after I get the plumbing done.
Displacement + those snails = Very high puck factor:eek:
Look at the 2000hp Indy cars with 1.8 to 2 liter turbo engines in the 80's. They had to outlaw turbos to keep the cars safe. I just sold my two Garretts this week, maybe get a GT model to fit my V8 in a year or so.

You guys should all try ls1.com. It's a message board like this one only for cars for those of you that didn't know.
I miss my car. My father-in-law has it for the winter. :(
Driving the Jimmy until the snow and ice goes away.

ets_angel,
Hopefully not much longer on the Ice and Snow........For a saltwater thread, it sure has turned off-topic.....but thats just fine with me, I can talk cars all day. I also visit LS1.com from time to time......I am just glad I found a saltwater BB before I go dumping thousands into a new hobby.

Yeah hopefully the snow and ice will be gone soon. Right now where I live we have probably 6-8+ inches of snow and ice. I have a Hugger Orange 99 Z28 and live up on top of a huge hill so it's not the best car to drive in the winter. Haven't drove it since before Thanksgiving. :(
