ooh...r u sure though because its doing it again tonight. when i came home my lights are off because i have the timer on 11am - 7 pm and its tiny again i dont even see any tentacles or anything i just basically see the foot of it

i fed my lta today and my shrimps stole it...at first i put a lil bit of food and then feed it but after the fish food was eaten the cleaner shrimps went for the shrimp in the lta i just let them have it n then i gave another piece to the lta. it looks great now. i also moved my rocks a lil bit heres some new pics.

i like the xenia coming up through your zoo's. that looks cool. what are you feeding your lta? i feed mine peices of raw shrimp once a week, and he is growing out of control.

I agree they are either clove polyps or anthelia which looks similar when small.

i feed mine shrimp as well. i put a tiny piece first so my cleaner shrimps dont bother my lta.

I don't know about the anemone. But that dottyback is probably a Purpleback Pseudochromis. Here's some info:

The Purpleback Pseudochromis, a.k.a. Skunkback Pseudochromis, is colored in bright yellow with a majenta back stretching from its mouth to the end of its dorsal. These fish make tremendous additions to reef tanks. They prefer lots of rockwork and do well in a community tank. Keep only one per tank and do not mix with other Basslets or Dottybacks.

its actually a Bicolor Pseudochromisaka bicolor dottyback this guy has already eaten one of my hermit crabs and for the anenome its an LTA.

Actually if you do not have a test for it do not add anything. BangGuy says that calcium and alkalinity are the two things that grow healthy coral. Other than lights :joy:
