My Tank (no dialup) ID help 2 plz

Started with this July of last year.

We've been taking it SLOOOOWWWW little bit here and there.This is where we are now (sorry about the focus of lack there of :p)

Some of my Shrooms





Heres what i need IDs on, are they ok to have? if not is there a solution for them:
1. This little guy just appeared today. I havent added rock in about a month, so he's been in there at least that long

2. I have NO idea what this is, but it just started showing up last week :(

not sure on what kind of star that is you can check in the hitchiker thread in the archive section and see if you can see one that looks like it.
the second picture is of a sponge and is deffinately alive you can see by the holes that are in it that would suck in water and take out nutrients.

so that sponge is ok to have it in there? Im guessing since no one has said anything yet it should be ok
I mean theres no sponges that will kill off anything in my tank or anything is there?

The sponge will not affect your tank negatively. If anything, sponges are good because they'll filter excess nutrients from your water.
As for the starfish, it's an asterina. They're also good hitchhikers to have.

that doesnt look like an asternia star to me asternia stars have lopsided legs as a characteristic and this ones legs look all the same length.
just a thought

I could be wrong, though I had an asterina that at one point had legs all the same length for a while.... it didn't start that way, and I don't know if it's that way now, if it's still alive (upgraded tanks a few months ago, haven't seen it since).
