My pride and joy. I've only been doing saltwater for about a year now and I'm starting to get the hang of it. But I'm still new to saltwater. I've been doing freshwater for over 6 years.

2 of these fish get very large{tangs} and need a 6 foot tank ,and the 2 dragonets need a mature tank with at least 100 lbs of liverock to survive.The linckia starfish also needs alot of LR on which to forage,and the lobster may become a fish killer.I am not trying to flame you..only trying to educate you.The fish in your tank are in a dangerous position.I urge you to do some research.A great book is "The Consientious Marine Aquarist" by Fenner.Good Luck.

I have done a lot of research. The tangs are going to be moved out when they hit 5 inches in length. There is 70 lbs. of LR and I'm putting in an additional 10 to 15 on the right side of the tank in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the info.

I know you are just wanting to showcase your tank.But,so far I have seen this:You used to have a green carpet anemone in there...now your clown defends that spot,and is ripping up your firefish.And you have a sailfin with the beginning stages of HLLE...which in this tank is only going to get worse.The reason is the high bioload...and stress.Have you tested your water?It does'nt matter if tangs are juvenile,or small..they still need the swimming space,and good water quality.Can you add a refugium to this tank as a place for pods to breed for your dragonets?

Tangs need alot of space for their home. They get agitated very easily and need a well-kept stable large environment to live stress free, otherwise they can succumb to bad health.
My advice may seem a bit harsh ...it's not meant to be! The advice given is not to make you look bad , rather to prevent you from making the same mistakes some of us have made in the past.

Thanks promisetbg for the advice about the tangs. The water quality and all the tests are 0 the saltity is at 1.024 +/- .001. I'm fragging the colt to give the tank more room for the rest of the coral. I'm always up for advice good or bad so I will make less mistakes than some people have had. I'm thinking of getting a 200gal tank to put the tangs in so that will probably happen sooner rather than later. If you have more advice please tell.

I've got a question for every body. What does everyone feed their fish and corals, and foods that they like and dilike. Thanks.
I feed mine Omega One Flakes, Brine Shrimp, Blood Worms, and for the corals Micro-Vert

Fish,Corals,and Anemones are fed on a rotating basis:
Frozen mysis shrimp-I use Piscine Energetics Brand
Ocean Nutrition Formulas...{Frozen}
Brine Shrimp Plus-only very little,as nutrition in brine shrimp is minimal
Special Formula VHP
Prime Reef Formula
Formula 2-has algae for tang and lawnmower blenny
Clams
Invert Formula
I also use :
Frozen Silversides
Ocean Nutrition's Prime Reef flake
Frozen Cyclopeeze{corals love this stuff}
Spectrum Thera+A pellets-by New Life
Zooplankton {comes in a jar,must be refridgerated..made by Sweetwater}
Algae sheets
All food is supplemented with Kent Zoe,and Vita Chem {For additional vitamins,minerals,and amino acids}

I forgot I have:
Prime Reef Formula
Formula 2
for my fish
and
Frozen Cyclopeeze
for my corals. My local pet store feeds their show tank this stuff and when I started feeding them it they went nuts.
