my tank so far

Well i spend a good bit of time lurking so I thought I might put up kind of a build thread. I have a 75 gallon mixed reef tank. I have 2 T-5's 2 VHO's and 2 175w halides. I have a panworld return and a euro reef skimmer. 2 Korila 3's.I have it all on a aqua controller Jr. with DC8. Here are the pics up till now. Thanks for looking.

I need to take new pics of them they are much better color now. They like there new tank much better. lol

Thanks its starting to get there. Things are starting to grow fairly fast. Heres a couple other corals I missed.

did this tank even cycle....wuts the back story to this thing. cause if your just setting this up, your on your way to a crash....
not trying to be harsh, but in three weeks you mite be close to the end of cycleing. but after adding fish and corals so quick, its possible. again not trying to be harsh.

Tank sat with just rock water sand for a month before anything went in. Its been up for a couple months now. Its not my first tank.
Sorry for not saying it was a time laps of sorts. lol All peramiters are stable.

Story behind the tank would be. I had a little 24 gallon aquapod. Well I wanted something bigger so I just kept collection parts. No tank just parts. lol Well I came across a 75 when I was picking stuff up one time and got it for 20 with a stand. So I ended up setting it up after it was in the garage for a while. It will hopefully keep me a little happier till I get a 125 or 135.
So this is the $20 tank. lol now if only I could get the other half to beleave that.

no harm done, but usually when some one starts a thread, they leave info. you would be suprised how many people do just setup and dump in. looks like you understand where i was coming from.......
well now that thats handled...
that is some serious lighting there brotha man...whats your plans for it..

Its a little bit of light, about 160 of t5's 220 of VHO's and 350 of MH. I have a fiji purple and a coral light on the t5's, a Super actinic and actinic whiteon the VHO's. The 175's are Iwasaki 15k's. I love these bulbs, they are very crisp. We are going to keep a mixed reef of sps up high. and acans chalices and favias down low. Maybe a clam or two. So far thats the plan.

Ill get some pictures of it up in a little bit. Im at work right now. But Im have about a 20 gal berlin sump with a euro reef. Not sure witch one but its a little small but works for my bioload at this point. I have a panworld return pump. Phosban and carbon reactors. 2 Korila 3's and ACjr. I have an Icecap 660 running the t5's and i believe an aro ballast on the VHO's. The Ballast for the MH is a DIY I picked up a while back thats been doing great for over a year now. I have one Icecap 175 but still need to get another. Its fairly simple but its only temp. All the stuff except the skimmer will end up going on a bigger tank. You know how it is. Were never happy. lol
