Thats not what he meant.
He knows quite a bit about lions actually, its just that he has tried several different things and he just doesnt seem interested. He just meant he doesnt know what to feed it, because he has fed it some stuff. I told him to try some squid, but I am not sure if he has tried that. However, he just got that lion today, so he may not eat at all today. Also, I am pretty sure that he is somewhat skinny, but he may look skinnier in the pic because all of those pics are from above.

Sorry Joey, I underestimated you. Good luck getting him to eat! I was reading about it the other day and found a dude who coaxed the lion into a little basket (held under the water but near the top of the tank) at feeding time and fed him in there - it made sure the lion would see the food, and also made sure that the food wasn't eaten by someone else first. might want to try that.

yah. something like that - the pix i saw from this guy he used a small plastic basket - like the kind u get at the dollar store to put pencils in. but a plastic collander would probably work fine too

I dont mean to hijack but can i ask you a few questions?
I just bought those exact lights for my 55, what do you think?
Also how do you position your lr like that. Do you use anything to help stableize it, or just stackit up? I am starting a new 55 and i have never started my own tank, the 55 i have now was a hand me down. Whats the method for positioning and placing lr like that?

These lights ARE AWESOME culdnt be happier awesome awwesome!
u will love them.. i got 50 pounds of LR, and make sure u stack the on glass then add sand i shuld have done that to stabalize more but i culdnt. i stacked them on top of eachother carefully and stablilized each peice making sure none wuld fall.. u got a 55 GOOD luck i wish i wuld have gotten a bigger tank myself.. be careful doing LR with live stuff u mite squish something not GOOD

Well everybody, Joey asked me to critique his advice on AIM, but I think its great! And by the way, try not to lean the rock too much on the back glass...it places stress on the seams. I did, but I am not smart.
But yes, try to get the rock placed on the bottom glass...and put the sand around it. I didnt in my tank, but I only did that because I wanted my black cap to be able to burrow underneath rock....its what they do in the wild.
