737mech- It is not through the DFW group. IT is just a group of us getting together. The problem I have with myreef is that no one ever wants to come out here so there are a lot of us who miss out. I have been to several meetings. I dont know if you came to the one in october but we had a good time.
AFTRAHRS-
I have a 55 gallon sump with a fuge, - AQUA C skimmer, 1/3 HP Chiller and a return to the spray bar. I have 2 Mag 18's and 1 Mag 24 so the water heats up pretty easily. I also run 2-250 MH lights and 6 VHO lights 72" with 3 icecap 660's I do a 30 gallon water change weekly and sometimes 50 gallons. It depends on weather the 300 needs a water change also.
I have a LFS in my house so I get to change the corals out pretty often.
