hello everybody.
my name is Alex. ive been doing reefs for about 2 years now. i had a 75 but then i sold that and stepped down to a 10 gallon. ive looked at this site for a while but havent posted anything. i thought id share some pics with everyone to see if people liked my tank. the pics are all the same tanks with some of the same pieces of coral, ive just changed the tank around cuz i get bored with it.
so from top to bottom are the tranformations. the last few pics i did a major lift and swapped all the live rock for lace rock i had in another tank so please tell me what you think.

thanks. i think the reason for the color was a lot of my live rock was doing great with the coraline algae. i know longer have the atlantic blue becuz he got some sort of black rash where is stomach was and then died. he was a pretty cool fish considering he was about the size of a half dollar but its ok. thanks for the comment. i recently rearranged the tank again because for some reason not all of my corals are opening all the way. i took some pics to see if maybe someone could help.

sure. but remember since you move the tank around not all the corals will open up instantly. give it a day or 2 and it will open up!

how long has it been since you moved the rock? remember some corals need more then a few days to get use to the water.

ok. so its been like 4 days or so? well by looking at the pics, if they were taking today, give them a few more days and they will open. keep your hand out of the tank and dont make any waves by it. that should help it to make it open

ok thanks. i was thinking it was maybe my powerhead being too much current so i moved some of the more sensative things and that was the last tyme i really had my hand in there. im looking to get some fish here soon. my lfs has an order coming in tomorrow so i was thinking of 2 clowns and maybe something interesting but for now im sticking with the clowns for sure

the clowns will be enough for a 10g. the bioload will be to much. so i will only stick with the clowns for now.

dont get hermits. some do there job others dont. and will knock down the frags. get few nass, turbos, ceriths, and astrea snails.

Definitely not!! That will starve to death in your tank. They can clean a 100 gallon in a matter of weeks and then die. If you want something to sift through yoru sand get some nassarius snails. They are much better!!
