honestly its sitting in the spot where it is getting the least amount of flow.ive tried the most amount and moderate too because when i got it it had quite a bit of flow on it so i figured i would do the same but nothing is working and its frustrating me because i read all these things and everywhere says they are BEGINNER corals and i cant get it to open.
when i bought it it was open and it looked really good

you have way too many fish in a 10 gallon and you should never have more than 2 clowns in that small of a tank.

did you tell your lfs? ask them. im try putting it in the low light. if that doesnt work. then med light. or high light.
when you bought it. what lights was it under?

the store doesnt know why it wont open. it was in a 200 gal with 2 500w MH it was at the very top of the tank with moderate flow. the parameters on the tank that i bought it from arent as good as the parameters in my tank so thats why im at a lost.

oh. then thats your problem. since it was place at a high level with lots of light. place it to. place it at the very high of your tank.

ok. do you think i should angle the powerhead on the right a little more towards it or should i leave it where it is pointed at the front glass?

i put it up there next to the monti because there isnt enough room for where the monti is at now but i moved the powerhead towards it so it is getting flow. not a ton but also not any at all so hopefully this works. i moved it last night and i looked at it today and no immprovment so idk
if anyone has any other suggestions let me know? i just want this thing to open

thats what im dealing with nissan

give time. it wont open instantly overnight. it took one of my corals 4 days to finally show a small polyp start to come out. leave it like i said. dont worry it will open. dont touch it or put as much flow on it. be PATIENT!
there is no hurry in this hobby. its all about being patient
