ouch, that sucks man. Sorry bout the loss, im not totally sure what will happen to the eel. But i would guess he may be ok, since eels resist most disease. Good Luck.

Lets really hope he resists venom. I am also confused tho to why the non venomous shrimp is able to go in the eels mouth and live, while the venomous fish gets eaten :notsure:

well I hope he does ok.your eel must have caught that lion off guard.not sure about the dwarf lions but i have read that most fish that are stung by a lion usually don't survive it.

Your eel will be fine!! I have seen other fish eat lions, including other lionfish, without any harm. So sad for your loss.

Your eel will be fine. Even if it did harm him, the sting of a fuzzy dwarf is A LOT less painful than a volitan or one of the larger lions.
Honestly though, with the size of the eels in your tank, I would not do any kind of small fish. I did not want to say anything when you posted the pics, but I know my fuzzy is not aggressive at all. He cannot even compete all that well with the volitan for food, let alone huge eels.
Hope everything is okay with your eel.

putting 3 big eels together is a little different then putting a small lion in a with one of the most aggressive eels in the hobby.. lol
but sorry for your loss, lions are beautiful
