My Toadfish Laid Eggs Last Night, What Do I Do !!!!

Somebody help please. My husbands Toadfish (who I thought had bloat but appearntly was pregnant the whole time) has scattered eggs all over one corner of my tank, I am going to post pictures of course but I have no clue what to do ! There's no male in there to fertilize them, should I get one in the next day or so? How will I be able to tell if it's a male, I couldn't even tell when my female was pregnant

Oh my gosh I'm freaking out, I've never read about breeding them in captivity?

Consider them fish food. I highly doubt you will find a male to do his thing. Pretty cool it has laid eggs. That fish must be very happy in your tank.

yeah, its kind of a lost cause after the fact of laying eggs. Even if you had a male in the tank with the female, you cant control all the other problems.

She laid yet another batch today. All in a neat little pile this time instead of scattered all over the place.

My toadfish just laid eggs too, but no male is in there. So not fertile. The crab that shares the tank may enjoy the snack.
