my toadstool wont open! help!

i got this new toadstool leather & it wont open.
is it true that they dont like much current?
what am i doing wrong?

The toad stool may need a couple days to adjust to your tank I wouldn't put it where it get blasted i have one that is in pretty heavy flow and does fine you just have to see if it doesn't open for a couple days move him but no more then every other day and each time put in different flow to see what it likes.

It took my toad about 5 days to fully open up. I moved him several times until I got it right. Now, like clock work he opens when the lights come on and usually closes when they go off. I have seen him open throughout the night as well. Just takes time.

mine is pretty new to our tank....it is doing fantastic and is in quite a bit of flow but seems very happy there....
