LOL....My Mustang will be paid off soon...I was looking at the new ones coming out...but then I thought I would like to see how it felt to NOT have a car payment....I'm gonna try it out and see how it feels...(think I'll save it or buy more fish)LOL

no car payments is very liberating.!!! In Missouri they make it hard. We have to pay sales tax directly to the state so it can't be rolled into loan. Plus we have our lovely personal property tax based on cars, boats, trailers etc and we get billed every year end for all items owned each year. Its based on the age of the items.

Must... resist... urge to say... "If only the Challenger went to fat camp...."
Went with the R/T, nice. Didn't want the SRT-8?

Do it man! That BMW will most likely cost you a year in repairs what your payments would be for 6 months. We had a 530i that when it hit 100,000 miles starting costing a fortune. Three of my friends this year put new AC unit in their BMWs. Over $3000.00. One was in warranty and two were just out.

We were without a car payment for a few years. I remember how nice it was.
Love, she hasn't seen one yet.....................yet.
AK, the SRT-8 is an extra 20K.
TangMan, I once read in one of those uppity car mags that BMW's slogan should be "EXPENSIVE! And built to stay that way"
We'll prolly keep the Bimmer. Heck, we prolly won't buy this thing, but it sure is easy on the eyes.
They had 6 different colors, but this
baby has "buy me" written all over it.

Oh, and Love, that is my Chevy in the background.
I drove it to the beach. I took this with my cell phone. (please pay no heed to the handicap parking sign)

WE DROVE IT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!
What a complete and utter disappointment. This thing must weigh as much as a Hummer. The entire car is a blind spot. (so were the originals, so that was to be expected) The build quality was subpar. It has NO torque. I think my 4Runner will outrun it. And, I am absolutely certain there is no way it would catch my 52 year old, 4 door sedan.
Chrysler will always be a third rate car company.

It's pretty, but that's where the compliments stop as far as I'm concerned.

I've driven the mustang. Again, build quality is that of a 2 year old child. The ******** feels like everything you touch will break if you touch it again.
I am very disappointed in American automobiles.

Maybe I'll try a new Camaro. Surely it's not total crap, too.

That's what I said

Are you sure you drove a V8, maybe a SE V6, badged as an R/T?

Definitely give the Camaro a shot. The ******** is leagues better, the only thing is the blind spot is actually worse. Though it's hard to hate the purely form-over-function approach.
