My Yellow Tang Has A White Strip On It!!?!?

I have a 3 inch tang and there is a white strip on him about 1 1/2 inch long. Anyone know what it is?

where on the body is it? Can you describe it more? Do you have a picture?

Along his spine, but off to the side? What sized tank is he in and what are you feeding him? How long have you had him?

HI!
The white stripe is likely a normal thing. It is normal to see at night & for a small period of time after you turn on the lights.
If the stripe is present everyday on a consistant basis it is an indication of stress.

Normal to see at times.
