my yt isnt good *pics

hello
i am stompped.. my yt isnt wanting to eat and is starving. he is in a 30 wich isnt good i know but will be going intto a 90 if he makes it
my water peramteres is as follows.
PH 8.o
Nitrite below .2
Nitrate lesss/below 10
Ammonia 0

thet are on photobucket.there are pics of the yt, its current tank the one its going into will be adding a total of 45 plus lbs in a week or so the new filtration idea i used with the intake in 2 directions and some other critter (crab) i can figure out what he is. hes got these little whitte thngs above his claws tht he moves around consttantly..its like hew swatting the water gracefully

anyways about tht yt.. i dont know if hes gonna make i t if he does he will be into the 90 hopefully by the 16 of january depending on perameters.

btw im feeding the tank freshwater mysis and flake food as well as prime reef sometimes.
the tang shows no intrest he follows it to the bottom and then swims somewhere els.
iv had him for about 5 months i admitt it was a mistake but i knew i was upgrading. is it worth putting it into the new 90 if he is stressed or could it bring ick.
the 30 is going to be the qt when all the fish and rock/sand are out.

If you have nitrite the tank is not fully cycled. Ph is kinda low.
I would try to soak some food in garlic and try some herbivore algea sheets.

how long has the tank been set up? I agree that it sounds like its still cycling. It also doesnt sound like you are feeding him any greens. Tang's diets need to be mostly comprised of greens and then alittle bit of meat.

it has been set up for 6 months. it may b e recycling cus i moved the sand around because it had cyano bacteria. i then let the filter pick it up
about tht .3 trites though. it was less then the 10 i said 10 cus i thouh tht was the lowest it could go. im not sure. i dont realy get how to read it considering tht the number scale dosent go to 0
