Mystery Crab

Saw this guy under a rock tonight. I'm guessing he's probably been in my tank for over a year. So he's pretty good at laying low. Luckily my camera was in reach of where I was sitting. I was only able to get one shot off before he scurried under the rock and disappeared. Sorry about the blurriness. It's hard to get it to focus when zoomed in in the dark. Any idea what he is?

The dreaded red eyed crab, J/K LOL - I don't know has he been eating any corals?

Red eyed hitchiker crabs are usually bad, if you see him again, check to see if his claws are black tipped, another tell tale sign of a bad crab. If I had to make a guess, I'd say it's a Xanthid, only because those are one of the more common hitchhiking crabs with red eyes when photographed. Can you remove the rock that he's in to catch him?
