Name or Not to Name That is the ?

I'm no longer allowed to name my fish. I apparently curse them when I do. If my friends or husband name them, they do fine! Go figure! But anyway, here's what have names, spread through several different tanks:
4 Bettas, 2 each in split tank:
At work - One fish, two fish (aka Frick & Frack)
At home - Red fish, blue fish
Yellow Tang - Pudd'n
2 Firefish - Big Red & Spearmint
Mandarin Goby - I just say "hey cutie"
3 Lemon Tetras - Larry, Moe & Curly
(act like 3 stooges!)
Black Molly - Big 'un
2 African Dwarf Frogs - Froggie & Frogger
Plecostomus - Mr. Plecostomus
Red Wag Platy - "the red one"
5 Neon Tetras - "the neons"
That pretty much does it for me!

Had a hippo tang for 8 years, we called him Blue. The Sailfin was Sailor. CB shrimp is Krusty, Camelback shrimp is Omar. Maroon Clown was Rooney. Clarkii clown was Clark. We don't get too imaginative do we?

i name all my pets
2 perc clowns called george & ralph
a scooter blenny called scooter
a mandarin called manny
snails called gary and larry ... after sponge bob square pants ...
lol
and 2 blue devil damsels called frick and frack
and a urchin called that damn bas%#&d that ate the coraline of the rocks

Names, ahhh yes, I have so many (in the tank and not)...
Tippy & Ripley = Yellow-tailed damsels
Simon Da Shrimp = Cleaner Shrimp
Rocky = Scooter Blenny
Sam = Yellow head sleeper goby
Francis = Purple Tang (named by a neighbor child)
Harry & Ron = Percula Clowns
Christopher, Lady & Champ = Pepperment Shrimp
Geez I stopped naming the snails after 10. The bumble bee's are Thelma and Louise
Same thing for the Hermits... Jose & Carlos are my mexican hermits
Cats: Gilligan, Mickey & Amy Ray
Dogs: Cinder & Champ
Birds: Spanky & Oliver

i named my starfish Mr. Starfish

I have creatively named my fish before I even got them: Blue damsel is bluefish, yellow tang is Zodiac, Purple tang is Prince tang, Banded clown is Cayman, Fox face is Mr. Fox Face, red shrimp is Bubba, the hermit crabs all go by Phil and the turbo snails simply go by Turbo (quite creative). By naming them I have a much more personal attachment and my belief is a happy owner leads to happy fish!
