I got my nursing BS there way back when. the best place to go is fish safari in Virginia beach 2029 Lynnhaven Parkway, #550 Virginia Beach, VA 23456. they have a good coral selection and keep their tanks and livestock healthy (also home of the $5.99 a bag of 50g instant ocean). Also carry brands and products you usually have to go online to get. Next is Animal jungle (a little closer) 4318 Holland Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Huge store, good coral, fish and product selection. suspect up keep of their tanks (slow to remove dead livestock). best part the huge Shark and eel pond as you walk in on one side and Koi pond on the other side of the walkway. Think one night a week they hold a public viewing of the feeding of the shark pond. Care a lot pets in newport news is okay but more mainstream. still carry a decent soft coral and fish selection.

thanks. i'll have to dig up this thread next time i'm in the area. they don't have cool stores like that in Nebraska.
