Name the Funky Ball thing

I'm not sure what this is, but it's almost perfectly round, has little white threads that stick out and retrack around the entire surface and it's decided to plop down right in the middle of a zoo colony, any ideas what this is?

It could be some kind of crazy mollusk that eats zoanthids. The fact that a few of the polyps are closed supports this theory. I do not know for sure.
Hopefully someone else knows. :notsure:

Now that you mentioned that, I noticed the same polyps have been closed for a few hours, but the one thats wide open is actually touching the "blob" and has been open all day

looks like grape algea? does it move at all

I removed it and Qt'ed it in my sump until I figure out what "it" actually is. This thing was really attached to the rock, I seriously had to pry it off and it looked like there was a white base that had attached to the rock.

If it was immobile it may be some sort of sponge.
