Nano cube question

I know this will sound very picky to some because I am. I'm looking at both the Nano Cube and the Bio Cube. I have seen the Bio Cube and the Aqua Pod up and running but not the Nano Cube. I notice on the Aqua Pod that the lid does not fit well and you see light around the seems. I know you do not see light on the Bio Cubes but could someone with the Nano Cube tell me if there lids fit tight and if there is any sign of light at the seem? I'm interested in the Nano Cube because they are not as deep/depth as the Bio Cube. I think the NC is 13.8 in depth and the BC is 15. Thanks! :notsure:

I have an aquapod and so far I've been loving it. The lid fits good, the filter works good, and the lights are very bright. I decieded to get this one b/c my LFS had one on the counter and it always is looking good and I've talked to alot of other people and they too have had nothing but good things to say about it!

I have a nano cube and I know just what you are talking about. I set mine up and then as I sat on the sofa this thin beem of light was shinning in my eyes. Easy fix,put a long piece of black electrical tape on the inside of the hood and on the outside,just have enough hanging down below the hood so it fills the crack when you shout the hood. Works great mine's been that way for almost a year and I haven't had to replace the tape yet.
