I currently have an eclipse 6 and am looking to upgrade the lighting. Does any one know of a site or retro fit kit? Or even a bulb upgrade?

You may want to check out hellolight.com. I'll set up a link for you. They have 9 watt and 13 watt compact florecent lights that you can squeeze in that hood.

Do you think that provides enough light to grow mushrooms and polyps?

If your using a eclipse 6 you can squeeze two in there if you remove the old lighting fixture. I can help you mount them if you'd like.

Thank you for all the help you have offered me, I am new to the hobby and it is nice to know I can find helpful support at saltwaterfish.com
Also, the website that you linked me to gave me inexpensive ways to improve my lighting, which in turn will give me the opportunity to keep a wider selection of items in my Nano....
I will definitely have to take you up on the offer to help mount em', I have little experience in electrical work.

Good to here you found way to get more for your money and more importantly got the answers you were looking for on this board. It's full of good people with good ideas, though it can get rough at times .
Anyway, you know how to reach me.

This is what I did to my six gallon Eclipse:

Those are two 9 watt pc bulbs on separate timers that I just screwed into the hood. The pink stuff are balloons cut up for waterproofing.

Thanks Predator.
If I didn't party my ass off for ten years straight and give away my reef, I probably could help a little more.
Glad to help when I can all the same.
