Nano reef aquariums

hey guys any ideas for adding stuff in a nano reef

What size tank and other creatures do u have

I gots me an 8 gal with a maroon clown and
Two nassarius snails

That maroon will out grow that tank very fast. They get about 6 inches and they grow fast. You really can't put any more fish in it with the clown. If you re-home the clown you can get things like watchman goby, a fire fish, a clown goby. Maybe a couple shrimp. 8 gallons is really small for salt water.

I'm prob gonna switch out the 8 for a spare ten I have and see from there

Yeah your options are super limited like forbis said...a 10 gallon is really no different

Agreed. If you could get a 29 that would give you some options. A few times a year ***** has a dollar a gallon aquarium sale. You can get a 29 for a mere $29.

That would be a much better option. 20 is still small but it will be easier to maintain 20 gallons than 8 and you can have more than 1 fish. If you chose carefully and re-home the maroon clown you can probably do 3-4 peaceful fish (no damsels) that have small adult sizes (less than 3 inches) like watchman gobies, clown gobies, oscelaris clowns, firefish, Royal gramma, orchid dotty back, etc.
