Hi Everyone,
My brother is setting up a 12g Nano Cube, (or should I say I am setting it up for him) It will be a mini Reef, mostly just corals and inverts, However I thought I would put a fish or two in there.
First of what does anyone think about 2 fish?? Is that ok? or would you stick with 1 in a 12g?
Ok, So what fish would you suggest?? I am open to all that can go in this size tank and are reef and invert safe.
Thanks so much!

You can try one or a pair of percula clown fish if you are planning to have anenome as one of your invert. If no anenome, you can go with either chromis damsel or clown goby.

you cannot do percula clowns in a 12g cube, they get too large, and you do not have to have an anemone to make clowns happy, especially tank bred clowns. if you want a pair of clowns, id suggest getting ocellaris, they are generally the smalles of the clowns
and the lighting on a 12g cube will not support a nem, but, u can probably get by with a frogspawn, and clowns will host in frogspawns

i would go with a goby (watchman, clown, or firefish)
if ya want a more active swimmer, a 6 or 4 line wrasse would be a good choice.
or a blue or yellow tail damsel.
clowns and some damsels get too large for a 12 gal.

Can a 6 or 4 line wrasse really go in a 12g??
