Isn't building new fun?
Looking good plum. Keep us up to date with the progression. I've contemplated a nano of some sort in my office. But then, would I get any work done;)

Plum70rt, nice looking nano!!!! I have a question about the blue back drop. Is it one of those plastic backgrounds or did you paint the back, looks really nice.
Thanks,
NewBe

the back is blue acryclic, thanks all:) , for some reason the pics of this tank come out nicer than my big tank, its tricky taking pics with metal halide bulbs

Brooklyn Johnny, how does the spray paint look?????? And what did you use? I'm nervous about painting the tank, if it turns out bad i'm screwed, ya know.

No reason to be nervous newbe as long as the tank isn't setup yet... I just usued your average spray paint (they're all the same I believe) and chose a nice color. Use lots of masking tape and newspaper to outline the edges (on the outside of the tank you're painting obviously). It takes a bunch of coats, and follow the spray can bottle directions as it pertains to letting it dry between coats...
How does it look? You tell me :D Tough part is keeping the coralline off, which for you acrylic guys is tougher.
Hey Plum don't mean to hijack (last question I answer in your thread and you get a free hijack in the future ;))

Thanks Johnny, it does look really good!!!! My tank is set-up already. I was told that I could use acrylic hobby paint and roll it on, but thought the spray paint thing sounded even easier. Oh well. I have that stupid plastic backdrop on there now, water is always leaking down behind it and making this weird bright spot.
Sorry Plum70rt for taking over your thread
:)
Thanks,

Sweet looking nano!! You can always use a dark colored cloth and velcro it in place. That way you can take it off and rinse it out once in a while .....
