Hey did you use already established LR?
I'm curious because it seems that your adding stuff too fast (from what I've read anyways). Well basically my point is can you add a cuc before the cycle, will they survive?

Well from the looks of his tank he used cured live rock which really speeds up the cycle process sometimes it only takes a wk and other times a month it just matters when your water is ready (nitrates, ammonia, nitrites...ect.). But i'm sure he knows what he is doing cause this is his 2nd sw tank and his 1st is one of the cleanest tanks i've seen...lol

You really shouldn't add your cuc before the cycle, just right after and then do a water change after the cuc has been in there for a wk...jmo

already had a cycle..and diatom bloom. When i set this tank up i used Rock,sand and water from my 24g.

15 snails, 4 hermits.. also got 4 larger shells for the hermits when they ready.
in a few weeks im goin to get a shrimps and my 1st coral
