Ok everybody this tank had been up for just under two months and this is what i have...
fish
blue chromis (temporary)
inverts
Mscenter58's hermie
emerald crab
coral

multiple kenya trees
one head of candy cane
hairy mushroom

No offense, but that's the wrong light... and the tank looks like crap because of it... at least get some 50/50s and/or a new light fixture for growing corals. What kind of corals did you even get? zoas?

What your plans for the blue chromis?
 
i dont know right now but im getting attached to him so i might end up keeping him cause he has not turned out to have an aggresive personality because one time my friend was putting sand in his tank and i put his clownfish in my tank and they did pretty well together so i might end up keeping him

+1 before you go any further with adding corals you need a real light. Have you noticed no one else is running your type of light? Should tell ya something. Once you get a much stronger light with the correct par and power then your candy cane and other corals will thrive. Right now they are starving to death
