The caution was gonna come out anyway, the tire was rolling toward the track. Even if it didn't make it to the track the caution was gonna be thrown. Maybe if the tire stopped away from the track, they could have waited till after everybody stopped. I doubt this though, one car hitting that tire who knows where it would of went. This is a new team and the guy is a fire fighter during the week and this is a part time thing for him. I have seen other teams guys cross pit road chasing tires, but never that far. Four race suspension kinda harsh I think. Nine cars on the lead lap after that was really crappy.
