NASCAR fantasy league 2010
This year's NASCAR fantasy league has been set up and is ready. Scotts (our Administrator for the past two seasons) will not be playing this year, but he is working behind the scenes on this, and will probably join in occasionally for a little smack talk.
For newcomers, this is a yahoo sports fantasy league similar to the football and baseball fantasy leagues. We have had a lot of fun with this over the past couple of seasons, and this upcoming year should prove to be a blast with the rule changes.
If anyone would like to join, send me a PM and I will send you the link along with the required info. to join our group. You will need a yahoo ID and it is free. It only takes about 2 minutes to set one up. (I prefer the PM thing again this year to prevent the mistakes we had our first year, with people coming in mid-season and throwing everyone else off).

I didn't do so well last year either, but I kept Sixline just so everyone would know who I was.
Does anyone know if Patrick is going to run Daytona? I know she is practicing but I can't find where a decision has been made. I would really like to see her start out on the big track.

She will racing in the ARCA series race this Saturday at 4:30 on Speed, and then in the Nationwide race next Saturday 1pm, on ESPN.
She's not in Cup yet, earning stripes in Busch for now

No wonder they kept referring to Jr. as her "boss". I have not really followed the transition too much....just assumed she was coming over to Cup.

Much like J.J. to Nascar, the defending Champion makes their return to the SWF Racing.

I have undergone a team name change from "My fish eat coral", to "Jim Bob Cooter"....I would like to introduce my new sponsors.

Well that, and she's driving for JR Motorsports, of which Junior is the owner, well co-owner along with his sister Kelley.

No, we have till 1:14 EST Feb 14 (the Sunday of the race). There will be no qualify points for Daytona...

Sorry guys, I was out last night. All PM's responded to, although it looks like Scott got you the info. (thanks Scott).
If you have not already, let us know what your team name's are. There are a couple on there that I'm not sure about. Looks like somebody did the same thing I did the first time I tried to go in (named your team "saltwaterfish racing") by mistate trying to get into the Group name. You can keep this name if you like, or you can delete it from the team and do it again under another name.
I just woke up to Qualifying.....Martin 1st and Jr. 2nd...

Is it just me, or does any else wonder why in the world Chris Myers is there? What a dumb SOB.... Mid-way thru the second heat, after the pits stops, Hammond talked about his eyes were on the 9 and 29 to watch. Then Myers asks Hammond "Well, what do you think about that Budweiser car?"
Hammond just freaking told you what he thought.... It's a no wonder why in the NFL, this guy is only a sideline reporter, but somehow in NASCAR he's got a booth job

No problems here...I'm not sure who it is, but they can keep that team name if they like. I just figured they messed up trying to set up their team (like I did). We can deal with it later.

In hindsight, he is going to look more of like a moron than he is.
Also, in the ARCA race, I was pulling for Patrick, but it was getting so old (and obvious) that DW and the whole booth was too. They would not shut up about her. I lost interest half way thru the race, wishing they would shut up and cover the rest of the field....

We're gonna hear bla bla this and bla bla that, of course because she is smoking hot, and drives a hot car!

Patrick held her own. I think most rookies would've gone into the wall with that spin she had. Her interview afterwards was aweful. She tried to give this 'play by play' of everything she did in the race. It'll be interesting how she does next Saturday with the 'bigger' boys. $100 says Kyle Busch spins her out trying to bump draft her or get around her.
