Naso tang rub marks.

Do naso tangs get rub marks normally on their side or is it a sign of stress? My new naso (which I know needs a bigger tank when older) appears to have rub marks on his side. At least it appears that way, the mark is lighter in color like he rubbed off his gray. Is that possible? I've never had a tang before so I don't know what is normal and what are signs of stress. He seems to be doing great otherwise. He is now eating flake food, actually swam over when i fed the other fish.

naso tangs get white spots when stressed or first introduced into a tank.
are the spots rasied against the surface or to they look more like faded spots flat against the body?

They are flat. It looks like the gray color is paint and it got rubbed off in a spot. It is not ICH, more blotchy than discrete spots.

typical with naso's i wouldn;t worry about it....as long as he's eating and swimming normal than you should be okay
