Honestly I like cleaner shrimp. Most tangs are hardy once acclimated and by that I mean ich free for about a wk after adding them. I have a kole, and yellow both are easy fish to have

If acclimated correctly there should be no stress. If ich happens from stress of transport it will happen w in a wk. Now if its added at another time either by water or other fish, stress wont matter. If u put a ich free but stressed fish in a tank that is also ich free. Ich its self wont just happen. It has to be imported in, either in bag water or on fish them selves , it can also come in on live rock, snails, ect. Inverts dont get ich but there water shells, ect can help transport it.

So I just treated my tank with a ich outbreak 7 days treated main with seachem prima guard 125 I can say I completly changed all of the water in that tank added a 24 watt uv sterilizer to tank two weeks now no ich
You think end of month is too early to add new fish

I've been reading your other thread where your asking about ich wondering if your just asking the same question in different threads hoping you'll get the answer you want to hear even if it's not the right answer.

Nope trying to get all aspects of the disease
I've need doing research but it's always good to research off of experience a well
