Nass. Snail eating Zoa's?

I worked a rather long weekend and finally I come home to see my new zoa frags were a rather nice full service menu.
The closest thing was a Nass. snail. No spiders, no nudi's, no irritants, etc... just the Nass.
Can someone tell me..What gives here?

1am. last night I caught the lil booger munching away! Literally had to fight the lil guy to get him off the rock
Any ideas on how to keep the corals seperated from the snails? Tank divider probably won't do it because this snail literally pops out of water to hit my HOB makeshift fuge, it'll just crawl over the divider.

nass will pretty much stay in the sand until meal time. Likely something other than these little cleaners.

No, I've caught the little booger ON the coral and on the rocks inching towards the coral 2 seperate times. I know it sounds odd and out of the norm, but I guess I can only keep watch over them and see what happens next.
No, I have no Nudi's, no sundials, no mud's, etc...

It does sound really strange, if you find the nass actually eating the zoas. take a picture of it and post it.. then remove it.

I believe last night I got my answer to the problem. Just before I hit the sack, I took a blue led light and took a look in the tank. Things were moving, but the snails were all on the tank walls. I got the camera out and used the red light to see a tad better, and to my surprise I watched a POD literally dig out and run off with a head. Then 3 more followed suit.
Now last I knew POD's were basically a scavanger that eat the dead and decaying stuff in our tanks, so seeing this was rather amazing. Some of the heads look like they want to open, but I'm asuming they are being stressed by the pod's and the snail didn't help either.
In the end I'm guessing it's safe to asume the coral didn't survive shipping. The box got too warm and was probably banged arround too much by USPS.
Here is a POD tearing out a head. Just above the red line.
