Nassarius snails?

I am thinking of getting a 30-90 reef package. I was wondering if there was a problem with the nassarius snails being eaten by the blue leg hermits. They seem to eat my turbo snails when they get a chance and since the nassarius is labeled a sand sifter then I would think they would have more of an opportunity to eat them. Anyways to make this book a pamplet do bluelegs eat nassarius snails?

From what I have read here blue legs will kill just to try on a snail shell and then maybe keep it or not. Best to go with scarlet hermits, not blues. I dont order the packages because it seems none have scarlets. It may cost more, but I dont care...........in the long run, did it really?!

I ordered the same package and yes the blue legs do rule the tank. They got a few of my turbo snails and 1 out of 5 nassarius snails. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, i've had them for 2-3 months now and they've only gotten one nassarius.

nassarius are probably the least likely to get eaten by anything because:
A: they're relatively fast in comparison to other widely available snails.
B: they have a good thrashing motion that they can use to elude and flip themselves back over.
C: they hide in the sand
D: when they're not in the sand they're generally crawling up the glass. (at least mine are)

When you get your order be sure to make sure no whelks were included. I had two when I ordered a bunch of nassirus snails and the whelks will kill the snails.

My blue legs killed about 10 of my Nas Snails. And My Nas Snail are always in the sand and on the glass. They do come up for food though.
