I like Bama....Which means Texas is going to win.

Biggest miss-match is Bama's dominant D Line vs Texas O-Line...Colt will be running for his life, if he can escape Texas has a great chance.

Texas could BARELY stop that freak that plays for Nebraska. Now they have a team full coming at them. I hope Colt has extra pads in tonight HE WILL NEED THEM. Remember this is the Tide team that DESTROYED Tebow and the Florida Gators and Colt Mc Coy needed the Big 12 Refs to give him a second back to win his game. Alabama is going to destroy him that and the Alabama QB has yet to lose a game as a Starter he is 29-0 as the Starting QB.

SEC = Best conference in all of college football. 4 straight National Championships! 06 - Florida, 07 - LSU, 08 - Florida, 09 - Alabama. Not too bad if you ask me!

The freak is Ndamukong Suh. And bringing up Nebraska's defense, its kinda funny that the second string QB for Texas scored more points on Bama than McCoy did on the Huskers....

The Big 12 keeps falling on their face in the big game.

If McCoy didn't get injured, I think things might have been different. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see 'Bama win, it just shows that SEC teams are tough, but with a freshman QB, and some good defense, Texas put up a heck of a fight. I think Lady Luck had money on the Tide this year.

I think there is little doubt what Texas would have done to Bama with McCoy in there. I still can't believe they put up the points they did with the green QB.

So much for the myth of the mighty SEC defense.

That defense allowed 21 point scored 6 of its own. Had a great goal line stand in the first qtr and caused the game clinching td by causing turn overs.

Yeah, Goal line stand on the Freshman QB's first series of downs and even then the rookie was able to get in on a sneak that was called back because of too many men in the backfield. Not too impressive if you ask me. With McCoy in the game Texas has a fairly easy win if you ask me.

As someone who really didn't care who won.
I'm wondering if you turkeys watched the same game I did. I mean seriously? Bama's defense was NOT impressive. I didn't know a corner could ride piggy back on the wide reciever, they sure play football difference in Alabama. Their offense layed down for the 2 quarters running hand offs. So it make the Horn's D look really good. It just sucked as a game. It turned into a game management game. Really lame.

I will say Mac Brown just scored HUGE points in my book. How many coaches do you know that would make a decision all but insuring losing the national championship, because it is in the best long term interest of your star player. WOW

I didn't watch much of the game (forgot that it was on), but when I turned it on and saw that McCoy was out and that the official on the left side of the field was allowing the Alabama defensive backs to do anything short of stabbing the Texas receivers...I knew that Alabama was going to win. The difference in the part of the game that I watched is that Alabama threw to the RIGHT side of the field where the official knew where his flag was and wasn't afraid to enforce the rules of the game as opposed to Texas that kept throwing to the receiver that was on the LEFT side of the field where the official thought that he had purchased a ticket and was supposed to watch the game rather than officiate it!
That being said, Killer Nut in '10-'11!!! GO BUCKS!!!

I bet you that Colt McCoy's daddy threatened to sue him in the locker room if he put him back in...I am so tired of seeing his parents every freaking game that they play...other players have parents too, why aren't they shown every freaking series??? Freakin' momma's boy, good luck with that in the NFL...your own defensive linemen will start taking shots at your weak hind end if you allow your daddy to come to the locker room every time you get dinged!!!

you think a 22 year old kid is old enough to make million dollar decisions on his own? I don't. Mac Brown had exactly what he wanted a kid willing to through EVERYTHING away for him.
At least it is his dad, not some free loading buddy looking to score big...

Risking a first round pick and possibly $30mil in the bank or play a game that will only give you memories? Easy choice here.
