ne one have sw tank and is 15 -16 y.o?

hello
i am 16 and just turned it.
i just set up a new sw tank and it drained my money suply as i got it. now i know tht i should of been saving for a car but man its hard.. ne one have ne thought or oppinions,
i know i can get a ride home from someone but can borrow someones sw fish tank to watch lol

I turn 16 soon. I am happy with my tank and its probably the favorite thing I own. THe thing though for the price and on practicality its pretty low on the list. I have put 3000 bucks into my tank. My own money not my parents, but mine. Now that I am about to go to college I wish I got a smaller tank, I also could use the money for a car. The thing though is it also brought the oppurtunity that now I"m going to get a job at the LFS and since the manager knows me from being in their every day, I have a guaranteed job, that is flexible around my school hours where I get 14$ an hour as a sixteen year old. I think though a kid who wants a SW tank and car that they buy with there own money is crazy...hence me

yeah i set up all my tanks iwth my money lol
i have a 20 fresh a 90 salt and b4 tht a 30 salt and b4 tht a 12 gal salt lol
total ive spent around...3500 on all my tanks? close to anyways.. it sux i must say
i am lucky though i have an aweoms job. i am an entrepenouer (sp lol) tht is a wierd word to say and spell. so i get just about all profit minus the product

Yeah I'm 16 and I have a 210 gallon reef... I'm broke... thank god I work at the LFS and get discounts lol!!! But between my tanks, paintball, and SCUBA diving I basically have no money.

wow there is almost no way i could fill a 210 REEF lol wow tht is amazing.. got an pics? the most i could probally fill and make it look diescent would be a 180

Does younger than 15-16 count? I'm 14, and have a 125 reef, and am setting up a 55 frag tank right now. Try seeing if your parents will help you out at all with the tank, mine help me a lot.

no they neverwanted fish in the first place. i have a 20 gal fresh and a 90 salt. they love how it looks but dont want the cost involoved.. they pay for the bills for electric..
other then tht i pay for everything about 2500-3000.
yeah it count but i like to see if anyone tht is 15-16 cus of the car issue

i'll be 15 in bout 4 months, but i go to school with the manager of my lfs, so he sells me everything for the price he buys it for from companies. i just don't eat lunch... keep the money... and buy the stuff from my friend. he sells me fish for like... 2$. a 30 gallon extra high for 11$, 75 gallon filter for 22$, and i got a paper route thats an extra 15$ a week.
