Thank you for the replies! I like at least a half dozen of the names.
I went to pick up the pup today, but the breeder sold him to a couple yesterday because they offered her $200 more than the she was asking for. So, I did not get the puppy, but am going to keep on looking for one VERY soon. I am so angry, but that is how it goes- I guess?
Thanks again!

Well, since this happened...I think adoption is way better than buying anyway...so, I suggest www.petfinder.org Find a wonderful Newfy puppy or dog in your area ..and save its life.
Hi, sorry to hear about the pup. You should maybe consider a newfy rescue? Most are purebred, and some have papers, it's just some people didn't reilize how large a newfy gets, and surrender it. Usual adoptions are around 200$ I believe. Most are young or adults though, and arent puppies though. But you should check into it, ya never know what they have at the time. Good luck finin you newfoundland. ~Ali:happyfish
bum deal with that pup but you might be better off without that one as it goes.I work with animals .a good breeder will not sell their pups to just anyone they will screen each person very carefully before adoption is accepted.sounds like that lady was in it just for the money.basicly saying that she didnt care who took the3 dog as long as she made a pofit. petfinder.com is a good place to start
My cousin had a new foundland and he named him "Fritz", he was a really good dog, huge and just a big teddy bear. Reacted really good with kids both small and big.
To give you an update, I met with a bernese mountain dog breeder and have reserved a male. I am still contiplating a name for it, but I won't have to worry about one for a few more weeks. I do like these names:
Molson, Prescott, Belvedere, Moose, gov'na, and toby.
