Need a snail ID

I noticed late last night a snail (I'm thinking it's a snail) without a shell moving accross the glass front of my tank. It's the second time I've seen him and both times were at night after lights out. I'ts about 1/2" long and simply looks like a snail with no shell. what is it? and is there a reason I only see it at night?

What color is it. Could be a Nudibranch.

I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF SNAIL THEY ARE,BUT I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. IF IT'S WHAT I THINK IT IS, I ALSO HAVE THE SAME ONES. THEY LOOK JUST LIKE A ASTREA SNAIL WITHOUT THE SHELL, RIGHT? OR AT LEAST THEY DO HAVE A SHELL, BUT IT'S JUST KIND OF FLAT, RIGHT? WELL, IF THATS THE CASE, THEN NO NEED TO BE BUGGED OUT. THEY EAT ALGEA.

they do look like an astrea without the shell. I'm not worried just curious as to what it is and what it's characteristics are.
