I have one for a week now. It has not touched the aptasia in my tank. I think it's hit or miss with them. It eats mysis shrimp very readily though. And he has wiped out all the little white feather dusters in the tank. As long as he eats, I'm happy.

I have a copperbanded as well as a crowned pearlscale butterfly in my tank and I have sps, lps, and softs. The copperbanded I have had for 5 month and not a picker on coral. They pearlscale I have had for nearly a week and it looks to be picking on a few sps. That's okay, though......I wanted it and knew it was a possibilty. I wouldn't change a thing though.

i've had one for a couple weeks now and he hasn't touched them either. it seems that the aiptasia are getting bigger. the one butterfly i did have was a threadfin and that one ate all of them in less than a day, but i let my friend use it in his tank for a week and he killed it. the thread fin will eat the corals with polyps.
