I know, I know, I'm just not very good at this stuff and he's super amazing to me! I always end up second guessing myself which is mainly why I wait til the last minute to purchase. I'm just afraid the girl in me will make it too cheesy, although I think he'd appreciate it. I dated a lot of losers so I'm a little gun-shy in doing sweet, sentimental things.

Steelers vs. Browns Tix.... For any true fan of either team... this is the tix you want... They play twice... they play the 1st week of the season 2 weeks away I believe. I'm not sure where the game is, but if in Cleveland its only 1 1/2 hrs - 2hrs away.. makes a nice weekend because there are things to do and see in the area.... Or the Football Hall of Fame is closer to you in Canton which is maybe a little more than an hour away just about 50 min south of Cleveland. Or even the Rock N Roll HOF in Cleveland directly behind the Stadium.

Go to www.amazingtickets.com... its an area ticket broker.. or you could try another source... They have tickets for the Browns Steelers game on 9/9 1pm.
If I were you (depending on budget) you guys could come up Saturday morning and go to the Football HOF in Canton... get a less expensive hotel room there or in Akron. Then drive up to Cleveland Sun morning which is 40min away. Game starts at 1pm... then be back home by that evening ready for work on Mon.

That's not a bad idea either - that's something I know he's never done and he always loves checking out that kind of stuff. We ended up going to a game at Wrigley Field when we were in Chicago a few weeks ago for no real reason other than to go to Wrigley Field...

I wish my wife would plan out that kinda stuff for me... Since you are a football fan...HOF would be nice.. great memorbillia... and its close and if you can make the game...icing on the cake...
Do I hear marriage proposals?????

One other idea of something that is close to you is The World's Greatest Amusement Park.....Cedar Point which is about an hour away from Cleveland. Its voted as best amusement park for last few years and has 12 coasters and 2 of the worlds tallest....
This time of year you could breeze through the park

First of all, woah on the marriage proposal!! LOL! he's definitely the one i wanna spend the rest of my life with but neither of us are in a position with our careers to take that step. And, while I am a sports fan I'd really like for this to be more about him than me. He does way too much for me and I'd like to do something special for him. We're always looking for goofy things to do together that neither of us have tried. Personally, I'd take him skydiving (I've always wanted to go!!) BUT I'm not sure he's quite ready for that!

Just joking ... but if I met a girl who was interested in football and I liked I'd be all over that... trust me it what make my life a lot eaiser and enjoyable if my wife was into sports.

any kind of gadget is awsome! a watch, a bit of equipment for the tank, something nifty for his car, a new stereo system (you benifit from this too) an i pod (if he like music) a mini fridge for his work space, even some neat polo shirts (or whatever he likes to wear) even though men dont seem to enthusiastic about clothes we like them all the same. and the tv idea is great!
