I have what looks like hair algae almost, growing on many surfaces of my tank. Ive attached pictures of what it looks like on one of my rocks but it has grown on another piece of LR. Strangly it has also started growing on the glass. Back, front, and sides. On the glass, it grows in small patches. About the size of a pencil eraser.
Possible problems that it is growing that would be my guess are that for one, I have alot of evaporation in my room so I try to keep up with it. I lose almost 1 gallon a day. I use RO water and I have made sure there are no traces of copper or anything like in tap water.
I also have a powerhead pointed at the front of the tank to direct the flow because it is strong.
I leave my lights on for maybe more than 9 hours some days. About 11a.m to 9-10p.m
Any suggestions would be nice. I couldnt get a good picture of it growing on my glass.
