First of all I am not positive, but I dont think its the floor. Its not that its unlevel from side to side, I thinking more that its unlevel like if ya held a board in yer hands and twisted one side forwards and one backwards. Like the left back corner is higher than the right front corner. Kind of twisted.
Thats why I am wondering if the foam will fix it?

First of all, you didnt need that top piece of wood. It could be that the piece of wood has some warping in it. In building the stand, you are not concerned with it being level, you should be concerned with it being square. You cant measure that with a level. I would remove that piece of wood (it wont be seen anyway)and then turn the stand upside down and place it on something flat like the kitchen table. If it rocks then, you know that it is your workmanship that needs improving. Aside from that, I would get a square and check all the corners for squareness. Do all that and then get back to us with the results.

O k I had another thoght. I need some opinions on this. Ok either I leave well enouh alone, go to home depot, and get 34 inch foam and put it under my tank or................................................................................................
the stand my tank is on now is the black 70 bux stand ya buy from walmart. Its the pressboard stand (thats why im switching over) but it does have a sloid top also...it even has little bumps so the tank cant slide....the top is solid and about 12 inch thick.....I could take that top and set it on my stand and put the tank on it......WELL....
Thanks,
Mark

Forget the foam idea. The tank needs to be completely supported at the edges. If the foam doesnt compress evenly, you will put undo stress at different areas of the tank and cause it to leak.
