Need glass tank?

I got a 55 gal. 36"x15"x24" I noticed it has a small chip on the outside corner, So I need a new tank, but cant find any GLASS tanks that size, all-glass only makes them 36"x18"x24" so my stand and canopy would be to narrow, I found a Truvu acrylic, but I have heard a lot of negative things about acrylic. Any other companies make a glass tank that size? I need help.

Why do you feel you need a new tank because of a chip?
Unless the chip is very very deep into the glass or goes all the way through, the tank may well be fine anyway.

I also have a small chip in mine, 90 gal. Just do a water test, but like scsinet said you should be fine.

yeah, a small chip off a corner shouldn't be to much concern unless mentioned above.

i have a huge chunk missing out of the side of my 29 gal, right on the seam. hasnt busted yet though, had it up for about two years.

My 90G AGA RR tank was delivered with a small chip on the corner (it was the 3rd try for this particular LFS and I accepted it because I was obviously not going to get a tank that was "perfect"...). As noted above, unless it is deep enough to affect the tank structurally, you can probably get by.
If you are "picky" (join the club

) and just don't want to use a tank with an imperfection, then you might check Glass Cages - they can probably provide what you need...

I also have a 90g aga rr that has a chip in the corner. I'm waiting for it to leak so I can buy this guys 150 for $150.
