Fish only or do you want coral? Niether light is good for corals, for fish only either one will do just fine.

I have the 2 bulb fixture over my little 10g. I have zoas and rics in it. Like I said last night in your other post, if you use a better brand of bulb you will be fine, except for the corals that require high light. And some people have the 96w pc's over 10g on here as well.

its not 6 watts per gallon anymore. If im right its about the lumens, or par the corals need to grow.

You will be able to keep zoanthids, mushrooms, palys, and some large polyp stony corals, just no sps. I think the t5 if it is high output, will be better than pc.

I have the Coral life HOT5's on my 10 gallon, and I have a Monti cap at teh top with great polyp extension. i have a mixed reef and every thing is doing great. The PC are not as good. I researhed alot for mine and went with the T%'s instead of the PC. More watts, but that is not a great judgement anymore as stated above. The fixture I have is great, I only wish they had a two switches one for each light.

The Sundial T5Ho light comes with 2 built in timers..one for day, and one for actinics, and it also has moonlights :)
I have it in my 29G and I love it
