All my fishes are dead! Need help!!

[hr]
I have a 75 gallon tank with 1 yellow tang, 1 lionfish, 1 clown trigger, 1 emperor angelfish, 1 koran angel, and 1 bluetang, and they all died within 1 month. I tested the water daily and all the levels of testing seem to be fine. They were all fine until they started developing ich. What is the correct level of the salt supposed to be? I have it at 1.021, like how it says. The fish store told me to have it at 1.018, but when I had it at that, my fishes started to die anyways. Any suggestions??
:help:

Sorry for your problems, but your tank is grossly overstocked with incompatable fish. You're also not quarantining the fish so you introduced the parasite into your tank on one of them, and it just infected the others. Read the information at the top of this forum on quarantine and hyposalinity. At this point, do not add any fish to your tank for 5-6 weeks. This wil allow the parasite to die off. Then restock slowly with smaller fish. Stay away from large angels and the big triggers. Also invest in a quarantine tank or you're in for the same problems all over again.

If they developed ich, and the ich went untreated, or treated in effectively, then they died of ich. Take a look at the posts in the FAQ Thread on ICH and Hyposalinity.

Thank you for your reply/advice. I am going to be adding some fishes in one at a time. Do you recommend anything that I should do differently? What should I do before/after I add the fishes in? What should I do if the parasites/ich appear on the fish now since my water is doing well?

Seriously think about setting up a Quarantine Tank. Believe me, for a small amt of space, you can eliminate a lot of future headache. Read the post on QT in the FAQ.

Hi all. I'm new to the forum. Please forgive me for any dump question. Should i medicate the new comer with Coppersafe? Should the QT be emptied by the end of quaratine period?

About your original tank, a 75 is too small for one angel let alone two, ill admit I have a queen angel in my 75 now, but I know at one time she will outgrow the tank :joy: but good luck restocking!!!

I really strongly encourage you to slow down with this. As mentioned many of those fish were totally incompatible and the tank incredibly overstocked. The stress associated with that can cause disease outbreaks. A clown trigger alone can be really obnoxious in a smaller tank. If you like aggressive fish please visit our aggressive forum with a list of fish before you purchase and they can help you out, and hopefully save some fish and money :D

Do you have a grounding probe? One of your equiptment may have been spewing stray voltage in the tank..
I just checked mine with a volt meter and it had 44Volts AC!! Put a Grounding probe and it's back to 0, but i still haven't fingured out where the power is coming from...
