Need HELP Anemone got tang....

I walked by my tank about 10 min. ago and my anemone which is pretty big and has recently moved up against the tank had a hold of my yellow tang. Somehow she got behind the anemone and was upside down getting crunched half in and half on the underside of the anemone. I panicked and got tongs (stupidly) and tried to move the anemone away from her, which I probably ended up hurting them both.
I have had the anemone for almost 2 years I couldn't get it to give way, he's very sticky and firmly planted. I thought then my tang looked about dead from what I could see of her, so I didn't want to end up killing the anemone to save the tang that looked dead. I have no idea how long she has been caught in the anemone.
I then took a net and was able to pry her out. Amazingly she swam right to her cave (where she sleeps). I noticed the right side of her looks pretty torn up and her breathing heavy. So I turned off the tank lights and she seems to be calming down a little now. I was thinking I should put her in the QT tank with some antibiotics since her one side looks pretty bad. Then I was thinking this could stress her even more now moving her. I'm not sure what to do. Should I wait? Should I keep the tank lights off? If so for how long. I will post a pic of her as soon as I can. Here is a pic of the anemone she was stuck in. I hope I didn't hurt the anemone, it also looks pretty bad. I also can't put anything in the meds in my tank because of corals.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

id say just keep a eye on them both and see what happens keep the lights off for a couple hours,i dont know your light cycle but if it was close to the time to have them off just keep them off for the rest of the night. or you could try to feed the fish to see if she will come out and eat.

i think you were right about the qt, that would be more stress. just give it some time, keep the lights out til tomorrow, wont hurt.

Thanks for the advise. I did keep the lights off for a couple of hours. I keep trying to get a pic of her right side but she keeps moving too fast. She looks a bit like she has road rash, but it's white, I can't tell if it's skin or it looks like sand is stuck to her side. She is eating like normal. So I guess that's good. My anemone looks like, well it looks pretty bad. My clown is laying eggs right now on the rock next to it.
In the pic with the arrow that is where she was stuck, she looked like the size of a small clown fish.

what does it take for clowns to lay eggs? I have just started my system and I had bought two clowns male and female, there both pretty young... still juvi.... I just wanted to know if they would breed or is there anything I can do to make them want to.... I would like to see new life in my tank one day.... my tank is MO 45g not much LR say maybe 20 lbs umm I don't have any fancy lights over that tank....yet!.... ummm but is there any advice in them breeding?
I hope your tang is still ok, and your pics look nice.....

Thanks, I think she will be all right.
As far as clown breeding goes your I'm really not the one to talk to. I would suggest buying a book or going to the library. I bought Clownfishes by: Joyce D. Wilkerson. It's imo the best book out there about clowns. Also one of the moderators (bangguy) on this forum breeds clowns, I would talk to him or read his threads. I think he would be even better then buying a book. I wish he would write one.
I do know that if you got the clowns at the same time and their around the same size the more aggressive one will most likely turn into the female. That is how it works with clowns. The female is almost always the larger clown.
I have three clowns, if my female dies my male will turn into a female and my juvi clown will quickly grow and become the male and they will become a mated pair.
Most people that see my tank think that the little clown is a baby. I read that he wont grow unless one of them die or I separate them. If the male dies the juvi will become her mate. But once they become female they do not change to male. Hope I didn't confuse you.
They do lay eggs every 2 weeks. My clowns start laying eggs three days after their eggs hatch, like clockwork.
It is not an easy task raising clowns. I have yet to keep the fry alive for more then six days. I have only tried a few times. You do need live food. I'm trying to do it without. I read it has and can be done. I definitely post pics if it happens. :happyfish

wow, thats more info about clowns then I thought to know.... I will defiently will look more into that... I do raise live food though I have a tank I keep to raise Brine Shrimp in to feed the fish... I didn't know they changed sexes too, I thought the saddle backs were female and the clowns with the strip connected were males and thats even what I was told my a guy at the LFS so.... I will have to ask bangguy about that too... I would like to see some pics of the fry... thanks
